Adham Moustafa, Advanced Clinical Intern

Accepting new clients in-person and online

I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels grounded, collaborative, and genuinely human. My goal is to offer an environment where clients feel safe enough to slow down, reflect honestly, and explore their experiences without judgment. I value curiosity, warmth, and authenticity, and I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel both supported and understood.

My approach is humanistic and integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based frameworks. I'm curious about the ways neuroscience, emotion regulation, and lived experience intersect, and how greater insight into these processes can help people feel more agency in their lives. I'm also drawn to moments when something in the external world seems to mirror our internal experience. These seemingly coincidental moments often carry meaning worth exploring, and I believe paying attention to what resonates somatically can help guide us toward what feels truest.

I work well with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and questions of identity or meaning. I'm particularly drawn to those who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about their next step and are seeking a deeper understanding of their internal world and relational patterns.

I approach therapy with genuine curiosity and respect for each person's unique story. I don't believe there is a single "right" way to heal or a perfect version of yourself you need to become. My hope is to support you in building insight, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of yourself as you take meaningful steps forward, however big or small.
